Erica Lukes became interested in the subject of UFOs at the age of 6, when she picked up her first book on UFOs. She has spent the last 25 years studying the phenomenon with her interest focused on abduction research. Dr. John Mack, Budd Hopkins, Kathleen Marden and Dr. Frank Salisbury have been an inspiration to her.
She joined MUFON and became a field investigator after several unexplained sightings she had in the Salt Lake valley. Her sightings were eerily similar to those by Dr. Lynne Kitei (the Phoenix lights). After researching MUFON case files, she became convinced that there has been unexplained phenomenon for decades and that most of them are related.
